(L) August: "Palio of S.Rufino" last Saturday and Sunday - competition of the ancient crossbow performed by the Group Balestrieri in Assisi. The competition is preceded by a historical procession, from exhibitions of sbandieratori and from representations inspired to the Renaissance, to memory of the provision with which the governor pontifical Andrew Cruciani, in 1542, he/she wanted to divide the city in "terzieri" to put an end to the struggles among the factions of the Part de Above and of the Part de Under.
